Kegan gets sick

UPDATE!!!!!

Well Kegan had to go back to the doctor because he just wasn't clearing up. The doctor ordered a chest x-ray to check for pneumonia but thankfully it was normal. Kegan does have to use a nebulizer though, at least until his lungs are nice and clear again. He is such a trooper!

We had our first (and last!!!!) ER visit with the Kegger. He ran a fever all day on Thursday and I just couldn't get it to go down. It finally spiked to 103 degrees (which isn't really that bad) but I was getting worried it would just keep climbing. He looked pathetic. All the urgent care facilities were closed so off to the ER we went. He tried to be in good spirits but when the nurse started touching him and taking his temp he was none too thrilled. Anyway, long story short no big issues but the doc said he had a viral upper respiratory infection so there wasn't much we could do but keep the fever down and make him as comfy as possible. He still feels pretty crappy, his eyes are red and goopy and he is coughing quite a bit. The pics are tiny because they are from a camera phone and they do no justice to his little puffy face. My poor baby!

Easter and such...

Here are some pictures from Easter (a little bit late) and some other recent ones as well. He is growing so fast! There are also a few of him and cousin Silas at the pool together. What a couple of goof balls.

Eight months old!

Kegan turned 8 months old today! The time has simply flown by and every minute has been priceless. He has grown into such a character. He has begun to experiment with the different ways of movement and has achieved the "every-which-way rollover". He can now get into sitting position from his stomach, and he has already been pulling up on everything and everyone. He can stand up for a period of time holding on to furniture or a leg. Pretty sure he may decide to skip crawling altogether. Yikes!!!! He now likes to sleep on his belly whether we like it or not. He is a really good eater and likes pretty much everything he tries ( still not a fan of green beans though). He sometimes gets a case of what can best be described as "food aggression". Just like a little dog, if you get too close to that baby cookie while he is eating it he gets pissed! But most of the time Kegan is a sweet little love. He loves to cuddle and loves to hold hands. He is a good sport and is so patient. He will put up with about anything! We love him soooooo much!

Silas' 3rd Birthday

We all went up to Agua Caliente for Silas' birthday party and it was lots of fun. The weather was great and the location was beautiful. I forgot my camera of course but Adam took some really
good ones, including this one of the crazy party man!
